Experiencing a lag in kicking - College Football 26

Today during offline gameplay in dynasty mode, there was a severe lag in both punting and kicking. Both the accuracy and power meters had a delay after pressing and releasing the button. Causes major problems. I missed a FG, XP, and also shanked a punt that gave them great field position. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
