Game hangs starting overtime

i play using the super sim offense only feature to play only the offensive plays. I set the speed to slow to watch the computer sim defense. If a game ends in a tie while I am on defense, thus not playing, the overtime period starts by showing the rules then the coin toss which it selects for me because it still on sim, but after the coin toss it hangs. I can hear stadium sounds and see players wandering around on the field with the camera on the midfield logo, but the game will not progress to OT. The start menu button also does not work nor does pressing circle to exit the sim mode.

I have had this happen every time the stated conditions are met and it has happened probably 10 times since launch. Please comment if you are having the same issue tho I may be the only person who uses super sim offense only. Also if you know of a work around that would be helpful. EA please fix this bug!
