input lag

whenever i'm in play a friend mode i get lag. my nat type is open and i am connected to live services. i tried forgetting my network and rejoining and restarting router. no fixes. my friend on play a friend has no input lag. it makes kicking and playing the game in general, awful. couple that with the fact you can't choose neutral sites anymore on play a friend. the game is literally becoming unplayable
