Missing gear glitch in Road to Glory

I couldn't help but notice that when initially creating my player in road to glory mode, you can select several different Adidas items (shoes, gloves, etc) but after completing the initial set up/creation of your player and you move forward to the HS experience, all the items disappear and cannot be re-selected in edit player. Almost as if they're not even available. I did test if it has something to do with the teams gear sponsor and even if they are Adidas as an example, it is still missing. I'm unsure if this is a glitch or something that just isn't available once your start game play? Figured id point this out to help the community if others are experiencing this issue or noticed it. Any solutions would be appreciated.
