Offense personnel on defense and missing positions

Playing offline dynasty in my 3rd season and started playing the first game of the season and for some reason at times while playing defense I have offense players playing on defense.  For example my...

    I found a fix, reset your formation subs.

    The missing players are the one who left in the offseason lol
