Player dummies out.. not trying to tackle!
Against a better Penn St school, star player just decides to dummy out and not try to tackle on a crucial play. He’s actually just casually walking away from the player. Interesting!

I suspect you are running into the Juke Move jankey animation thing I posted about on the "College Football Dynasty" board. When you see this happen again, watch the replay. It may be that you see your defender "give up on the play" and then after that notice that the ball carrier was doing a Juke move. I think what is happening is that your defender is just losing a Juke Move die roll, but the animation is so bad that it flat out just looks like your defender is quitting on the play.
