I ran some simulated dynasties, both off-line and online, try to figure out more about what’s going on here. I believe there are two issues in play:
- The scheduling side appears to be overusing broadcast labels and assigning games to be nationally or locally broadcasted that are not actually the case. On my end, 80 to 90% of the games get the national broadcast label and most of the leftovers get the local broadcast label, with only a small handful ever going unlabeled. It would make sense that you would not want 90% of the games to be treated equally in terms of brand exposure. So on the recruiting side, the game is likely tracking the games as intended, but this does not match the scheduling side because the scheduling side is overusing the labels. Note: this is consistent with Jojo‘s above suggestion.
- Locally broadcast games are not being counted at all towards brand exposure on the recruiting side.
