Re: Junior Seau Challenge 2 kicks me from UT
The “Sunday Spotlight: Retro” challenge in Ultimate Team appears to be bugged for me, specifically the “Sunday Spotlight: Junior Seau 2” challenge.
Yesterday, I was playing through the Sunday Spotlight: Junior Seau sequence. I completed Junior Seau 1, but I’m not sure whether I completed Junior Seau 2 before the issue started. At some point, I tabbed out either during the challenge or right after finishing it, and the game became stuck on the loading screen. I eventually had to force close it with Alt+F4.
Since then, Junior Seau 2 has been broken and will not let me play it. It still shows as not completed.
When I first click “Sunday Spotlight: Junior Seau,” I receive the following message:
“Your previous game is still being processed by the EA Servers. Your estimated processing time is Less Than 1 Minute. To refresh, please exit and enter the Event again.”
It then sends me back to the Ultimate Team main menu. If I click “Sunday Spotlight: Junior Seau” again, it lets me enter the event, but when I try to start Junior Seau 2, I am immediately kicked back to the main menu with this message:
“You have lost your connection to the EA Servers. Please check your network connection. You will be unable to access any online features until you sign in again. See www.ea.com/unable-to-connect for additional information.”
After clicking OK, I also receive:
“Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later.”
I have tried the following with no success:
- Waiting over a day
- Restarting the game
- Playing other solo challenges before trying again
- Playing other Ultimate Team content before trying again
- Exiting and re-entering the event multiple times
- Clearing the EA App cache
- Deleting the user history file:
EA_SPORTS™_College_Football_27UserHistory616974c0
located in:
C:\Users\marqu\AppData\Roaming\Madden
(This fixed a previous no-audio issue for me, but did not fix this.) - Swapping a few players in and out of my lineup
I can still play Junior Seau 1, 3, 4, and 5 normally. The issue only occurs when I attempt to launch Junior Seau 2.
Has anyone else encountered this issue with Sunday Spotlight: Junior Seau 2/Other Challenges or found a workaround? It seems like the challenge may be stuck in a server-side “processing” state, so I’m wondering if it needs to be reset or fixed by EA.
