CFB27 Roster Issue
Hello, it is my understanding that all players with a scholarship is on their respective teams rosters. Charlie Fiser, who is a quarterback for SMU, was put on scholarship in January. I was hoping to see if he could be added to the roster. He has been on the team for a few years, but did not have a scholarship so it made since that he was not in the game. However, now that he has one, it would be really cool for him and all his little cousins to be able to play with him. Thank you!9Views0likes0CommentsFeature Request: Kick/Punt Return
Is there any way to add kick and punt return for skilled position players? Like if you make a speedster WR or East/West Playmaker, you can have the option to be a kick returner as well? With the new sim feature, it shouldn’t be too hard to incorporate.3Views0likes0CommentsIdea to improve RTCFP
Each season in RTCFP, have a fan meter that goes up or down, depending on the decisions you make. If you go for it on 4th and long on your own side of the field, the fan meter goes down. If you go for it on 4th and short around midfield and get it, the fan meter goes up. The fan meter encourages better situational decision-making and provides consequences. If the fan meter goes down too much, to zero in the season, your season ends early. This would make more players consider punting on 4th down, kick field goals, etc. and provide real consequences for poor decisions. It would be cool if the fan base could be seen in the stands too. If the fan meter is high, there is higher attendance and Home Field advantage is better. But if the fan meter goes really low, there are less fans in the stadium and the Home Field advantage isn't as strong.4Views0likes0CommentsAdd custom coaches to teambuilder please
right now, you get the coaching staff of whatever team you replace and i would like to have an option to have a custom head coach, and coordinators added to team builder, it'd be fine to select from like 10 preset options. why do i want this? multiple reasons 1) ease of access wont have to create a new coach every new dynasty i do. 2) what if i did a different college thats not in the game, a historic team or highschool team? it adds more depth to realism. 3) even if people lose their coordinators it'd be fun to see where they go. an additional feature, i wouldn't mind having later is uploading a draft class from college football to madden. understand there's a bit of a conversion factor to figure out, but if you can do a road to glory player why not the full draft class, assuming everyone leaves for the draft, or have the option to take away certain players.49Views2likes1CommentCollege Football 27
For the first 2yrs you have taken A I / Auto Pass out of the online play for the option to let the Quarterback throw the football. I would like to see this feature put back in for online play for the offense so at the snap you can take control of another position on offense. On offline play we can use Auto Passing and it's not fair that the defense can use any eleven players but on offense we don't have that option online at the presnap because we have to control the Quarterback every time. Also when playing online the running back and WR stop running after a handoff or catch where we have to control them, but on offline play we don't have do that. Please bring these features back for this year's game.8Views0likes0CommentsPlayer Eligibility
Leaving aside that Michigan's roster has a lot of redshirt freshmen listed as sophomores, redshirt sophomores listed as juniors, etc., Nathan Efobi, Evan Link, Jyaire Hill, Zach Marshall, Kendrick Bell, and Brady Norton are all incorrectly listed in the game as 5th year seniors. With schools that list academic year on their official rosters instead of labeling players as having redshirted, I'm sure it's a hassle to have to double-check the games played in each season for every player on the roster, but at least with the aforementioned guys, they are all in their fourth year of college.9Views0likes0CommentsOverall beta testing
Overall, I think College Football 27 is a noticeable improvement over College Football 26. The gameplay feels more authentic, and every possession feels like it matters. Positives Running the football feels much smoother. Running backs hit the hole naturally, and patient runners are rewarded instead of relying on unrealistic speed bursts. Defensive AI has improved significantly. Defenders react better to routes, and coverage feels much smarter, making passing require better reads instead of forcing throws into tight windows. The game feels more balanced overall. It is more challenging, but in a good way that rewards football IQ. Player movement and tackling animations look cleaner and more realistic than previous versions. Games feel more immersive because momentum can swing naturally instead of every drive ending in a score. Areas That Could Improve Offensive line consistency still needs tuning. There are occasional plays where blockers ignore obvious assignments or disengage too quickly. Quarterbacks can sometimes miss routine throws without enough pressure, leading to unnecessary inaccuracies. Defensive pursuit angles occasionally create unrealistic breakaway plays. Zone defenders occasionally react late to underneath routes. CPU play calling can become repetitive after several games, especially in similar game situations. Overall Impression The gameplay is headed in the right direction. This is the most enjoyable football gameplay I’ve experienced in the series so far. It rewards smart decision-making, patience in the run game, and making the correct defensive adjustments. While there are still areas that need polishing before launch, I believe the foundation is very strong. Overall Gameplay Rating: 8.8/10 I appreciate the opportunity to participate in the beta and hope to continue providing detailed feedback throughout future testing phases.15Views0likes0CommentsImprove my speed rating in CFB 27, it's not accurate.
Hello, my name is Liam Danitz and I play for the Wisconsin Badgers. I wear #14 and play OLB. I have a collegiate best of a 10.55 100m dash as well as a 20.92 200m dash. I am a former 2x NCAA First Team All American sprinter. I also have a PB of 4.43 in the 40yd dash. My speed rating in CFB 27 is 75. This is completely inaccurate based on my times, and I'm hoping I can get my speed rating adjusted. Here is my TFRRS page for proof of the times: https://www.tfrrs.org/athletes/8329578/Hope/Liam_Danitz.html35Views1like0CommentsCollege Football Teambuilder Update
Hey College Football fans, In preparation for College Football 27, Teambuilder has been brought offline temporarily until 7-Day early access for MVP+ Members begins on July 2nd. We are targeting for Teambulder to be brought back online on July 2nd and will provide further updates in the thread below. For more information about the changes coming to Teambuilder, check out our Dynasty Deep Dive: College Football 27 - Dynasty & Team Builder Deep Dive47Views3likes1CommentDo we know who NDSU and Sac State’s rivals are in CFB27?
This question comes up because several mechanics of the game revolve around having rivalries in the game, so every single team has one in the game, even if they might not actually be. I’ve attached the text from a relevant Reddit thread that might be interesting. As an example, Missouri State has no natural FBS rival when they moved up and still doesn’t, but because of the nature of the game they still got paired with Arkansas State. However, there was no history to speak of between Missouri State and Arkansas State. I think our answer will lie in how EA has determined these rivalries in the past. Similarly as Missouri State, Kennesaw State had Georgia State denoted as their rival for the purposes of the game. For these two rivalry pairings, I imagine it came down to pure proximity to justify those choices. This would also be justified by Charlotte’s “rivalries” against Appalachian State and Old Dominion in the game. I have never heard of Charlotte having any history with Appalachian State and I imagine Old Dominion stems from some proximity (Old Dominion being right in the southeast corner of Virginia on the Carolina border) and history in C-USA together. But otherwise I’m not sure what justifies those choices Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Liberty, Coastal Carolina, James Madison, Sam Houston State, and Delaware did not have this issue when they moved up. Appalachian State and Georgia Southern obviously have each other. James Madison had played Old Dominion a lot historically and the mascot themes played nicely together. Sam Houston State has the paddle game against Texas State (and another game against UTEP for some reason). And Delaware had James Madison from their CAA days together. Same with Liberty and CCU from the Big South So either you need justifiable proximity or some coaching overlap to another team for EA to support calling the series a rivalry. Sacramento State is probably a little easier, given the 3 G6 teams all very close by (San Jose State, Fresno State, and Nevada). After checking Sac State’s football history page and Winsipedia, I would personally hope they pick Nevada, as the Hornets have played Nevada 27 times. A cursory search of other western US teams shows no one has played Sac State more often than Nevada has (the next most often is Fresno State at 5 total times). I imagine they would probably lean on the CSU system ties though to justify San Jose State or Fresno State more, despite Fresno only playing them five times and San Jose only playing them twice. The Ball-Sac thing is funny but this game still needs to be E for everybody and I’m trying to be a little serious in identifying who will be their primary focus at the FBS level (at least until UC Davis moves up). North Dakota State is more challenging and more interesting, since there are no G6 teams close by to apply this filter for. This means regional P4 teams may get included in this filter. My first thought immediately jumps to Wyoming. The architect of the Bison dynasty, Craig Bohl, left Fargo for Laramie, and continued to leverage his connections in the region to recruit good kids to build Wyoming from a Mountain West basement dweller into a perennial 8-5 team. From the NDSU fans I’ve talked to, this is the conference opponent they’re most excited for. The issue here is they’ve only played one time. The second option in the MWC is Northern Illinois. Geographically closer than Wyoming, and the Bison have won both matchups against the Huskies (albeit not since 1969). As far as I can see, these are the only two MWC members North Dakota State has recorded matchups against. Even Colorado State is out since the Bison and Rams have only played one time, a Bison victory in 2012. Another option is Missouri State, who moved to C-USA from the Missouri Valley Football Conference, where they shared a home with North Dakota State. The two have played 16 times with the Bison leading 14-2, making this the Bison’s most played FBS series. The last option I could justifiably see is Minnesota. Minnesota is by far the closest team to NDSU, and the two have played 7 times, with NDSU winning twice. This was NDSU’s most played FBS series prior to Missouri State moving up. There is a natural dynamic here where a plurality of NDSU’s student body comes from Minnesota and the campus is right on the North Dakota-Minnesota border. There’s also the claim that NDSU’s dynasty is partially attributable to former Minnesota HC Tim Brewster sucking at his job and letting recruits who would otherwise walk on for the Gophers take a scholarship up the road. NDSU also has a ton of alumni in the Twin Cities area that could make a real matchup of this series much chippier than your average G5-P5 game. NDSU has played Iowa 3 times, winning their most recent matchup a decade ago, 23-21 in Kinnick. NDSU also claims the “In Heaven There Is No Beer” victory song gimmick, so there’s something immediately at stake there. NDSU also beat Iowa State in 2014. There’s not much there as the two teams have only played twice but it’s worth noting due to the geography. Same thing with Kansas State in 2013. And Kansas in 2010 (except Kansas does not have the win over NDSU). The worst possible option would be to make Sacramento State and NDSU each other’s rival, since there is neither any history (they’ve only played one time) and are roughly 1700 miles apart. JMU is also a lazy option for NDSU because neither have any feelings for each other anbd they’re halfway across the country from each other and have only played 4 times (never in the regular season), with NDSU leading the series 3-1.88Views1like1CommentChallenge
Why when playing H2H don't get to see the actual replay of the play that is being challenged? That needs to be fixed. It makes no sence that when you're playing the cpu you can see the challenge replay but not when it's a H2H game it just skips over it and the decision is made. Bring more immersion.6Views0likes0CommentsPlease, please, PLEASE...
Road to CFP MUST have... The SAME defensive playbooks for teams as they are in practice mode. For example, FSU runs a 3-3-5 Tite defense IRL and in Practice mode. But when I get into a road to CFP game, I'm stuck running a 4-2-5. BIG MISS. Saved depths charts carrying over into Road to CFP games. This is OBVIOUS. Whatever is stopping this from happening, it must be fixed. Lastly, make it more of an incentive to use lower Tiered teams. We KNOW what's gonna happen late in the season, everyone is gonna run with Top 5 teams making it impossible to play and win with anyone below that. Male it with our while to use lower ranked teams, and more of a penalty if you happen to lose with Top ranked teams.10Views0likes0CommentsWide Receiver Run/Pass Tell
In CFB 26 and in the 27 beta, the WR lined up on the line of scrimmage will point to the sidelines if it is a pass play. He will not point if it is a run. Is this in the game on purpose or is it an oversight? It really spoils the game for me now that I know about it. I always wondered why this one particular guy in my dynasty always seemed to 'guess' right whenever I called a pass play 😟. Now I know why 😤22Views0likes0CommentsMVP Bundle vs. MVP+
I accidentally preordered the mvp edition of both college football and madden and not the mvp+ subscription. I then got the mvp+ subscription. How can I be sure I get the 7 days early access cause it's still showing like I'll only be able to play on July 6.163Views4likes4Comments
