Cornerstone glitched

Hello, there is an Evan Johnson card that was for cornerstone that you could unlock skill points for an upgrade to 85. It required 49 skill points, which I achieved and even had 2 extra that I upgraded but I wanted it better stats So I rerolled and y'all took 3 of my points and it won't let me put him past an 84 please fix this
