i have a command &conquer game on cd but it will not play it saids i need administrator privileges i didn't need it before.

You should be able to fix that by running the game as an administrator.
- Start Windows File Explorer and open the program's location.
- Right-click the program file (.exe) and choose Properties.
- In the Compatibility tab, activate the option Run this program as an administrator.
- Click Apply, then OK.
