I just got the messages "Looking for updates" and then "Installing". Anybody knows what was changed?

This will lead to less diversity. Around 80% of players already include tech. Tech also heavily favors P2W as most of the units are epics, which makes leveling past 10 or 11 almost impossible for F2P (and those of us who can only justify putting less than ~$60 into a mobile game).

What diversity do you mean? 80% of all players are playing Tech units already, even before this change.
Real diversity would mean to include some maps where Tiberium is scarce.
