Asus Zenpad 3S 10" Tablet With Serious Lag

I've been running Command and Conquer Rivals with no issue on my Verizon Asus ZenPad Z10 since it's release, until I accidentally cracked my screen. Since this has happened previously I reverted to and re-imaged my backup tablet, an Asus ZenPad 3S 10", which has more more RAM and some additional upgraded features from the Verizon model.

Since this is my new favorite app, it was the first non-system app that I installed and updated. Unfortunately, the game play on this device is unbearably slow and navigating through menus is nearly impossible. As much as I love playing it on my new Pixel3XL, it would be nice to continue playing on on aa table again.

I have never had any issue with graphically intensive apps on this device, so I'm not sure where to go from here. Does anyone have any suggestions on changes that I might be able to apply to maybe the developer options to allow this game to function in a fluid way?

  • Hey @tribuck thanks for reaching out. Does this lag occur only with menus or elsewhere? Do you get a performance warning when you launch the game? Will pass this along for investigation. If you can provide a video of the lag, that would be great. Thanks!

Thanks for the video @tribuck, much appreciated! We have released a new update in the mean time. Can you update (if you haven't already) and let me know if it's still an issue? I'll pass this video on to the team. Thanks again.
