Its probably because it is not compatible with Windows 10. I myself own a copy of the old Deluxe Edition and it is not working at all for Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 based from my experience with it. You may have to purchase the newest version of the game from Origin. But the chances are, it will not work unless Microsoft or EA make a patch. However there is a solution, but it is risky. Go to the link below but be careful of the that no-cd patch. NOT ADVISED.
