C&C Generals ZH Windows 10 crash on launch.

How the * do you get C&C Generals ZH to work on windows 10? I get this * technical issues box after I pick which version I want to play. It has a long paragraph that sums up to "IDK here's a link and * you" I tried running it in compatibility mode as xp service pack2. Same issue. I downloaded DirectX June 2010 thing and ran the setup. I restarted my computer. I deleted the dbghelp.dll file. I've done everything I can find on the internet and it still won't work. Do I need to sacrifice a baby on the steps of EA's headquarters or something to get it to work?
