what do i need to do. i try to play both games but it both gives ***FATAL*** string manager failed to initialize properly... what can i do to solve this?
If you still cannot make it working then try the following fix i created for Tiberian Sun (it will also work with Red Alert 2 since the problem is realted to the same file)

didnt work. it was already on admin status.. it didnt work, cant change that. also when i rightclick and accept as run as admin my origin just pops up/glows
Okay just to confirm you went to Program Files > Origin Games > Command and Conquer Red Alert II?
Make sure game.exe, gamemd.exe, and the launcher/shortcuts probably won't harm either - (RA2Launcher.exe, RA2MD.exe, YURI.exe, RA2.exe) are all running as administrator. (Right click > properties > set as run as administrator)
The error points at insufficient admin privileges to load a file called Blowfish.dll which is located in your game directory.
will try because the ra2 and yuri ones were defaultly at admin and unchangable...
so i did all the exe,s in the list but it still says so when i open it with origin.. whats else is wrong?
saying the same ** and * game and gamemd in 95 and started up in origin still gives me the error
(also origin isnt in compatibility mode tough)
nope cant.. i dont have teamviewer.. i think i admined every exe towards the game. still doesnt work couldnt you sum up the stuff i need to do then.. to see if i missed stuff?
Mainly trial and error, double check admin privileges you have set in the properties. Tinker with the compatibility settings mainly on game.exe for ra2, and gamemd.exe for YR to see it has an effect.
If all else fails...

Note this isn't a permanent solution and should not be left off, if the game runs with this off its to do with admin privileges.
