C&C Rivals Balance and General Feedback
Started playing CnC Rivals and love the game. Mobile micromanagement strategy concept is very brilliant I love it. Just want to give some feedback about balance issues and ranked flow I experienced(observed from high rank players). Some units and abilities are less reliable and powerless than others. I know that when balancing you shouldn't look the values on paper and think buffs, debuffs combination with own units and enemies...
First of all I love confessors they are really cool guys my favourite units as lorewise an cosmetic but in the gameplay they are very weak and their buff not directly gives 100t value. attack is very weak and dont provide that much utility. very rare situations you can get value from it pairing it with high tech infantry etc.
High ranged units and deployed units with 2 and/or many counters (air and armor / inf and armor etc. for example juggernaut, mg squad, specter, scarabs, mlrs) are unstoppable on lower level and hard to deal higher ranks too. As you dont need to micro them only protect them there should be less reward using those units. Most of them only countered by air units which most deck have situational air units and easily defeated by hard counters.
Thanks you for developing this beautiful game. Hope to see more cnc strategy games developed. I think CnC games needs more improvements at marketing area. hear Rivals game first time, but clash royale garbage million times 🙂
