command and conquer 4 won't start

I bought the 17 c&c game pack. all games install/load/play fine except c&c 4. it installs, when i click desktop icon, nothing happens. i have tried rebooting and uninstalling/reinstalling. anyone know how to fix?

    I came home and installed today's origin update, then tried the game and it works! I didn't even need to disable Origin In Game, so somebody did something to fix it, it works now! Thanks EA!

    I still get the no start from C&C 4 what is the fix. ? EA please post a fix!

    I have same problem, using Win7, other CC games worked but not able to play CC 4. Issue reported in November and four months later is no fix posted yet? I tried the solutions I read for similar issues, "fix install" suggestion and the "turn off Origin in Game" neither has work.

    that the same things what happens to mine, all but C&C4 won't work, I not download all yet but I done half sop far they take so long lol

    I'm having the same issue and so is my roommate.  I'm on windows 7 and he's on Win 8 and both have the same issue with the game not starting.

    Having the same issues. Bought this today and none of the games work. Running Windows 7 32-bit. I have tried everything I have found, running as administrator, changing property settings. Nothing is working. Why are you still selling a game that everyone is telling you doesn't work??

    *** ACTUAL FIX  ***

    Task Manager  ( ctrl+alt+Delete )   End task on all launcher update, try to launch game again.  Have fun.  See you On the Battlefield.
