Command and Conquer Generals and Zero Hour serious error

Question

Having trouble getting Command and Conquer Generals to run on my Windows 10 PC I downloaded it about two weeks ago and tried it for the first time last week and worked perfectly fine I tried playing it today and the game just gives me this serious error&nbsp;on startup and unable to play help!

No I haven't made a lot of changes aside from maybe doing windows update and updating EA origin I've managed to get generals to work  but it only works in window mode and it's frustrating trying to play in window mode

I had a serious error too before. Try to reinstall the game.
