Command and Conquer Generals MacOS
If this game has a MacOS version, why is it not available on Origin for the game that I own and cannot play on my Mac?

Because C&C: Generals does not exist as separate product in the EA store; it only exists as part of the Ultimate Collection pack and the recent Humble Bundle. You can't redeem serials on Origin unless the product actually exists in the store.
I think the reason for this is that in both Origin packs, the game plus its expansion are one item, and you can't give two keys to redeem one item.
