@vuco84 Please describe your error with Generals in more detail. Also, did you install any game modifications or mods? Next time, please make a topic title that better represents your issue. Do any of the other CNC-games work correctly?
For your Red Alert 2 problems, please try if these steps help: https://answers.ea.com/t5/C-C-The-Ultimate-Collection/Red-Alert-2-Error-unable-to-set-video-mode-need-help/m-p/6148729/highlight/true#M15128 (I would advice to first try step 3 and if that doesn't work, try then step 2 and 1) Does that solve the video-mode error?
The games can all work on Windows 10 btw 🙂

thanks for the reply no I didn't download anything beside the game but so far it only cuts out during the general challenge mode and I was using the us super weapons and it happens about 20 minutes in to the battle when I build 4 partical beams the game just shuts off goes back to windows but I will try the steps for red alert 2

So, Generals actually runs well? 🙂 But only a crash during gameplay after a while? If that is the case; please install Gentool, which fixes many issues with the game. See: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Command_%26_Conquer:_Generals#Gentool Does that solve your problem with Generals?
Try installing CNCNet for Red Alert 2. That could very likely fix your issue with that game.
