this did not work, i am on windows 10, use the origins versions of the games.

keep getting that directx 8.1 error.

The latest patches for the CD-version of the game can be downloaded from here: https://cncnz.com/downloads/

The Origin-version (Ultimate Collection) is already pre-patched.
