Love seeing scarabs in the event.

I’m somewhat confident they have a place in the mid to late-game when your opponent does not expect them and is unable to build a cheap unit to counter them and take the pad. In that way they kind of work like a mg squad.
People do love them in events though like xrmiao4 said, and i crush them every single time.

They don‘t know how to counter them —> scarabs are OP —> anyone who uses them sucks. That‘s how people think who can‘t counter them.
And if you DO know how to counter them, you know how easy this is.
Conclusion:
Good players say they suck because they are easily countered.
Bad players say they suck because they are OP, thus the user sucks. :P

Lol, I like this response. And that makes sense. And I 1000000% agree that Scarabs are cheesy. Velveeta extra creamy. And that’s why I love them. Worst case scenario, I lose 30 tb and a slight time advantage. If I see my opponent is properly prepared to combat them, I switch up to normal strat. Buuuuuuuuuuuut... best case scenario is I get an easy/fast Harvester kill or two and maybe secure a pad or two. The reward outweighs the risk in my opinion.
In in my opinion, Scarabs and Jump Jet Troopers are very very similar. But people complain about Scarabs because they are cheaper.
