DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED - Command and Conquer Remastered

I am experiencing the following error message at random times when I try to play C&C Remastered:

Video Card Driver Crash Detected!

ERROR DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

I have tried multiple registry edits that are suggested, driver updates/rollbacks, and nothing works. Here are the machine specs:

HP Spectre x360

11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7

16GB RAM

Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.

The game runs smoothly and beautifully, until the crash occurs. It usually seems to happen when I try to bring up a menu by hitting the ESC key, but it has happened and multiple other times as well. The game is unplayable.

    Did you manage to get this resolved? C&C remastered worked OK for me, very few crashes. Red Alert Remastered is constantly  crashing however.

    @NyergudsThis is simply not the case as it's playable on a 10 year old dual core i3 with 8GB ram, yet not possible on my Dell Inspiron 16 plus with i7 11th Gen Octacore. This is DRIVERing me insane.

    @Nyerguds Not does not. ASUS K54C with integrated Intel HD 3000 (i3-2330M).

    I've actually received a reply direct from Petroglyph (email support) and and a game update/patch appears to be in the final stages before release! This was on June 9th, 2022.

    It will be pushed through Steam as normal. It sounds like if final testing doesn't produce any issues, this could occur fairly soon.

    @only4pro_nyholmi Seems there's something about it on the Petroglyph discord server. So you should probably look there.

    Hi

    I've just bought this game and I'm suffering the same type of crash with Red Alert Remastered. I see it is over two years since the last post on this. Was there a resolution? A patch?

    You've taken my money EA, can you help me get this working or refund me?

    Same problem here with Intel iris Xe graphics
