Error 500 go back to home. Cannot login.

I had this problem and I came here for help- this is completely useless. I was about to un/redownload EA to try and fix it, but I found something else that did fix this error.
Right click EA Desktop on your Desktop
Choose Open File Location
Find the App Recovery option listed
Right Click and open, and accept its prompt
After doing this my EA desktop opened easily. They should definitely make this easier and more accessible, but this worked for me for now.

lol I'm so annoyed with EA, I want to come to their headquarters and give everyone of those toddlers who programmed this SH a beating. I have played a total of 3h and 1m. Steam won't refund although this SH app wont let me login. Total fn garb. Thanks
- This just happened to me AGAIN! It's the 3 day its happened (after being fixed) in about a week. This is insane. It should not be this D**M hard to play the FU**ING Sims!!!! I'm only trying to check on a file hider I'm making If I can't get into the game I can't do that.
I feel the same way.. lots of money is spent and time off game defeats the purpose of pay to play.. I am having the same issues with logging in.. happens alot. Currently cannot launch any worlds.
