Matchmaking designs matches based on medals, trying to make matches between players with similar medal counts. The longer a player is in queue, the more relaxed the matchmaking rules become as it widens the range of medals that is acceptable. If a player has been in queue for a while (e.g. those with limited pools such as Tiberium League), that may mean that there is a large range of medals that the matchmaking system is searching through.
EA You do not care about the players all you care about is The money you get from micro transactions if you read past all the comments from all the stupid people and the arrogant ones on here and get to the intelligent ones and see there is a consistent problem with all most all the players
