EA Staff (Retired)I do defend the ladder system because if you have level 7-8 units and you are in masters while you havent payed a dime. This game can be played without money. The fact that you have level 7s-8s and you are in masters proves that. But dont be mistaken. If you dont pay anything you dont have the right to demand anything from the devs. They are people that worked hard to create this product. And they gave you a choice. You can play the game as f2p and have a really hard time after a while, or pay and make it easier for you. I dont know why you make demands while you dont support the devs work. Its like you would go drink free coffe in a shop and you demand that the coffe is the best in the world. You can make suggestions for sure. But saying their work is trash is too much i think. About the levels its all about the right counters and your quick decision making. You can beat opponents at -3 levels. Now if you are in masters with level 7s-8s and you complain about levels you are wrong. The level cap at masters is 13 max training. There is a reason you cant go higher right now. You did everything you could with the levels you had and now you just have to level up your units a bit. No one said that because you have the skill you will beat opponents that have +4 and +5 levels. But you can stay there for 2 seasons as a f2p player, level up your units and practice your skill against +2 and +3 levels. You might not like it but in order to go high without paying you need patience.
