how to run Command and Conquer on my computer with no cd slot
i've got the command and conquer first decade but my new laptop doesnt have a spot for a disk to plug in.. can i download it somewhere and use my cd keys

Not with TFD, no... sadly, it doesn't exist as product on Origin, and hence, it can't be redeemed that way.
That said, the TFD installation doesn't require the DVD itself; you can just use some other PC to copy the whole thing on a usb drive, and install from that. You will, however, need no-cd patches then to actually run the games.
By now, though, Command & Conquer 1, Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun are all freeware, and they have all been upgraded with community-created unofficial patches that fix a lot of their bugs and compatibility problems, too. You can find them here:
Command & Conquer 1:
- Complete No-CD game installation pack (v1.06c r3, no videos, all music included)
- English videos pack (French and German video packs are also available on the website)

Additionally, Red Alert 2 is currently free in Origin's "On The House" feature, and can thus be added to your Origin account completely for free.
So, that should get you set for most of the games without even needing the DVD anyway. For C&C Generals, though... yeah. You're gonna need those no-cd patches to make that work.
