Hello, we're looking into reports of players experiencing a Game Stuttering Issue. If you have experienced this please reply below with the following information: DXDiags (if available) CPU GPU Ram Resolution you are playing at Screen mode you are playing at Windowed, Full Screen Exclusive, Borderless Windowed (or a combination) What kind of Harddrive do you have the game installed on (HD, SSD) When did the issue occur i.e. during MP, during campaign (specifics appreciated) In the meantime, if you are encountering this stuttering issue, we have the following suggestions based on the information we’ve gathered so far: If you have an SSD drive, we recommend installing the game to that drive Try changing the resolution to a lower one, then back to the original resolution Before playing, close all web browsers and other applications which could use Video RAM or actively ping the hard drive While certainly annoying, consider starting a mission and then reloading it after a few seconds to allow the textures to cache first

Have not tried on the other version yetExample: Red Alert Campaign, MIssion 1. Even in the first couple seconds, its already stuttering and all over the place. The moment something blows up, it just gets even worse

On was worse, but off is also bad most of the time.) When did the issue occur i.e. during MP, during campaign (specifics appreciated) This happens mostly if you load a savegame and there happens some stuff.But loading a fresh mission is also often laggy. Sometimes it does not occur, which is not related to a cold restart of the game, mission or pc for me.The multiplayer was problematic all the time, but compression was on while testing this. Often the singleplayer is also laggy midgame, which might be related to texture loading, as it often is related with building stuff the first time.EDIT: It also happens, when you lift the shadow of war and new building types are discovered.You should consider pre-loading of textures (maybe while still in main menu) or lazy loading with the classic textures as fallback (which would make a really awesome effect 🙌 )

@Floboslocos Yes, I noticed this phenomenon as well too. Launch day was fine, but since then I've had nothing but lag and stuttering while playing on both of my PCs.

@Aeternus_EA Hello any fix for this? it's almost more than a year since we are still having the same issues ☹️ we love this game it made my childhood so i am very frustrated not to play this properly

CPU: Intel i7-7700HQGPU: nVidia GeForce 1050 TiRAM: 32GB DDR4Resolution: 1920x1080HDD: 480GB SSDIssue occured when playing skirmish against 1 CPU opponent. Issue made game un-playable, also received message "cannot save game using custom map".

@Aeternus_EA Hello any fix for this? it's almost more than a year since we are still having the same issues ☹️ we love this game it made my childhood so i am very frustrated not to play this properly

When did the issue occur i.e. during MP, during campaign (specifics appreciated): As soon as the game loads, during the campaign and cut scenes. Not attempted MP yet.

CPU: AMD 5600x
GPU Gigabyte 6700xt
RAM: 32 GB
Resolution: 1440p
Screen mode: all screens modes tested
Harddrive: nvme2 2T
Problem: Performance during a match is great. But the menu's take forever. When trying to load a game it takes like 10 seconds after clicking load to find the load games. And after that its really sluggish navigating through my save games. Opening the jukebox takes rougly a minute while i sometimes even get errors. Problem is noticable directly after booting the game up in the starting screen menu. Clicking anything causes a delay and stutters. I notice my GPU load ingame is roughly 28%, and in menus it jumps to 40%. Also the cutscenes are stuttering and not really watchable. My previous old i5 2500k gtx 960 did not have this problem.

It appears not putting the resolution over 1080p and turning off the GPU accelerated mouse pointer has solved the issue for me!
