Issues with Online

I just could play the multiplayer options ok. No problems so far.

That's an indication of the issues facing multiplayer then - I've been unable to launch 3 Quick Match games successfully in the new season!

You need a minimum of 3 games in Quick Match to be ranked in a new season. The season reset at the start of this month. Your rank etc will remain blank until you've hit 3 games. 

Hi EA_Mako​, when playing from Steam the multiplayer options are visible/available but still experiencing the issues that micron_z​ described.

On Steam (one of the following occurs randomly):
       * The game enters a black screen, forcing us to manually close the game via the Task Manager.
       * The game returns to the main menu with an error message stating there is a problem with the EA
         servers.
       * The game gets stuck on the match loading screen for several minutes. On the rare occasion it loads, it may work, but this is not common.

  The success rate is incredibly low. 

Note that the "skirmish" option experiences the same issues when playing solely against AI players.

Additionally, when clicking on "Quick Match", I can see the results table, but there is no info of my placement (e.g. games won/lost) where it usually sits on the right hand side of the screen. Might be related.

I've never had an issue with the buttons but about 70% of the time a game crashes or the server disconnects before a game even begins.  It has been going on for awhile unfortunately.  Usually when a game starts successfully it will finish just fine, but the frustrating part is the server actually allowing you to find a game and start it.

the options are back for me to play online but black screen etc is still quite prominent. Thanks

We don't have any new updates just yet I'm afraid, but I have seen the mentions both here and elsewhere that the various multiplayer options are showing back up and can be selected.

Is everyone seeing those available again, only now with the lag/crashing micron_z​ and rz7cjprzlsbq​ mentioned? Or are those buttons still not appearing correctly as well?

It is not, the buttons are enabled, but the game is still offering poor servers for multiplayer games

EA...FIX THE SERVERS!!!!!!!!!!  You can barely play online multiplayer, it crashes all the time, tons have reported the problem, fix it!!!!!  WTF!!!
