Logout Errors.

I am attempting to play Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 online with a friend, and while using the in-game server and chat tools, I am constantly logged out by the system, it claims that the authentication server is logging me out due to inactivity (this is impossible as I am often logged out in-game, or while chatting). I am unable to invite my friend to play (however when he invites me, I can play).

This can get irritating, as I cannot commence play, nor can I communicate properly between games, as I am constantly logged out. I have checked my antivirus, and it has been set to completely allow all communications from Red Alert 3. I have registered my Red Alert 3 to steam, but this cannot be the problem as my friend has done this as well and he has no problems.
