My C & C 3 not log into my account to activate the game.

I bought Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars on Black Friday and downloaded it on Monday, but when running the game called EA login to activate the game. I enter the correct data but keep getting the message "Unable to connect to server; Please try again in a few minutes.". And it's been 24 hours that I'm trying to access the game.
