@AzureAzule hey buddy, the game isn't that CPU or GPU intense, yes, the game may have a little impact on performance if you "Alt+Tab" out of the game, as the CPU needs to recalibrate the Screen resolution and some other stuff.
i would recommend to check in task manager to find out, if you have any multiple Application running in the background under the "Startup" Section.

So, I just tested this again. With the game running (and sitting at the bonus content menu in order to be quiet) I Alt-Tab to continue to watch a video on YouTube that I have set for 1080p60 quality and it gets choppy, it's not even full screen. However, when I get back into the game and load the same video into Steam's overlay web browser (via Shift-Tab) with the same quality setting, the video runs perfectly normal. Perhaps it has to do with resolution scaling or recalibration as you suggested. My screen resolution is 1920X1200@60hz. I'm not sure what exactly is going on, but I now suspect (as I previously mentioned) that it has something to do with Chrome (as that is my default web browser that I am using on my desktop).
