New display, some of the games are not working

I have a new display (Insignia 24") and some of the games are not working (red alert2, Tibetan sun). I tried changing the screen resolution.

    You mention changing the screen resolution, but just to be sure, can you try 800x600.

    I tried the 800X600. I got sound and a pointer no menu.
