Opponent matches aren't fair

I think it's because they are higher level but they are in the same league as you so you don't get a challenge battle.

They probably intend to stay in a lower league so that everything can become easy.

On the contrary, I don't want to advance to higher league until my level and my units' levels are reasonably high.

Going against level 60 units when I'm only level 30 is not fun. 

Note are my unites strong enough to counter them.

Also several times they were not "automatically set as a challenge match" for me as well. 

Play the game and see what we are talking about please. It's fun but frustrating enough against good playersI don't appreciate going against a level 60 on top of everything else. 

Quit relying on big units like Titans, sand worms etc etc.

If you people watch high tier matches you will see no one really using the expensive units.

That seems strange WADofFORCE, since what are the expensive units even there for then?

Honestly it's a marketing thing.

Higher tier players don't use any of them.

If you watch launch event none of them used them either. 

I lol Everytime I see enemy use worm or Titan, easy win for me.

But I also see Widowmaker and worm being a force to behold if played right.

Agreed.  At middling level, however, now low 30's, I've tried to go with no tech - and I'm sure I just need more practices - but I'm not able to keep my win % up.

Some of it is player level disparity.  A lot of it is just gettin' gooder.  Another bit is no one I'm playing is sticking to lower tiered units themselves, so until I can get a new play style through my head it's just not working out.  Final bit is doesn't feel right if I can't go cruising down the street in my Sandstorm - vomiting missiles everywhere I go - this game becomes less and less about C&C and just another PvP game at that point.

I would rather wait 5 minutes for match where the opponent has no units 2 levels above me, then deal with this * matchmaking that no-one likes. NOONE. Not one person, What does that tell you? I'm legit about to quit this game because of all the damn problem, between the terrible matchmaking and the gameplay issues that are being reported but ignored such as me spawning a unit on my base when the tile is clearly free and an enemy unit is heading to it and then rather then my units get placed there and the enemy unit pushed back, my units get friggen teleported to the top of my base where they are useless.

Honestly need to start correcting the problems the game has because this is a joke. I did my best to give this game a go and I'm only almost a month in and feel like quitting. Changes need to happen and you need to start giving a * about your players.

Seriously!!! I've only been playing for about a week. It started out relatively even, but now it's FAH-KING impossible!!! I'm constantly, and I mean EVERY MATCH, being paired up against someone who is several levels ahead of me. Which is another interesting point. There are 3 different indications of level. Which one is it??? I'm supposedly at level 16, but when we're matched there is some I, II, or III indicator that has no explanation, but then once were in the battle, over our health indicator there is a "lvl. 4" indicator. So what is it? Am I level 16, III, or lvl 4??? Incidently, no matter who I'm paired with, my "lvl 4" is always up against at LEAST a "lvl 7". I don't stand a chance. Maybe 1 in 5 battles I'll get 1 rocket launch, and 1 in 10 I'll actually win. It's VERY frustrating because I really want to like this game.

And where do these "Challenge Battles" come from? How do I initiate one? Again, someone is always challenging me, but they are WAY OP compared to me. It's infuriating.

Here is a breakdown of how the different levels work:

• Player level: You player level is based on the amount of experience (XP) that you earn. You get XP through battles, bounties, leveling up units. You can only gain XP and never lose it. Your player level will determine what units are unlocked. So as someone with Player Level 16, you only have a fraction of the units unlocked. If you go up against someone with a higher player level, they will have more units available to use.
• Unit / Commander level: This is the level that your units and commander have. Your commander level will determine the level of your base and harvester. The level 4 indicator that you mention is the level of your Commander. You can train your units or Commanders with credits. After a unit or commander has three training levels, you can increase their level when you have the correct number of unit or Commander cards.
• The I, II, and III indicator refers to the division markers within each league. You move up leagues and divisions with Medals. You gain medals for a victory and lose medals for a defeat. The number of medals gained or lost depends on the medal difference between you and your opponent. Generally, if you have fewer medals that your opponents, you will earn more medals for a victory and lose fewer medals on a defeat. If you get a Challenge Battle, then you lose no medals for a defeat.

A match is determined to be a Challenge Battle based on specific criteria. There isn't anything you can do to start a Challenge Battle, as it is determined after the match is made.

• Medal Count: A Challenge Battle will trigger if your opponent has 200 more medals than you
• Unknown Unit: If your opponent is a higher player level and is using a unit that you haven't unlocked, it will trigger an 'Unknown Unit' challenge battle. This is ONLY for units; if your opponent is using a Commander that you haven't unlocked yet, you won't get a Challenge Battle
• Higher level unit: This triggers if your opponent has a higher average unit level, with specific criteria:
  • Your average unit level must be within 4 of the league unit level cap
  • Your opponent's average unit level must be at least 1.5 levels higher than yours
  • Your opponent's average unit level must be within 1.5 levels of the league unit level cap
