Dr. Liang's heal drone is quite powerful as is right now. Remember that the heal works by percentage health, so the more base health a unit has, the more it heals. So it will heal a Titan much more than it heals a Rifleman becomes the Titan has more base health.
Dr. Liang is a late game hero. If you can survive the early game and start cranking out tech lab units, the heal drone becomes very powerful.
For any new players who stumble on this thread. The good doctor has since been buffed and his heal drone is cheaper now and he seems just fine to use if healing is your preferred playstlye
I have to disagree. I think that Liang's drones are too easily shut down by an alert player, and they often are just tiberium lost to a little micro.

He understood enough to avoid losing harvesters to bike harass and made an attempt to field titans, but this was shut down by the obelisks which did far more for me than his drones did for him.
@Ivrezul you might find this handy so mentioning you here.
- I've seen Liang a bit more at higher levels lately and played him a bit myself, he's good in a relative even match, especially if you're backing mammoth tanks with drones, but if you fall behind he becomes bad fast where strongarm or especially solomon might be able to help you get back into the game.
