So when i try to play LAN with another PC in my network When we try to join the game lobby it says Your CD key is already in use
But we have 2 unique copies of the game I dont understand why it says that please help!
Do you both have the ultimate collection? Red Alert 2 had the same problems since they had to patch the game to get it working without cd (they kinda replaced the copy protection). The solution was to insert a random number as fake cd key into the registry, not sure if that will work on red alert 3 too
I dont have ultimate collection but the other person does.
If you're running on Windows 10, try running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7 (can be done by right clicking application and going into properties). I had an error message show up saying that the CD key is already in use, even though the game instances had different CD keys.
