Strongarm's turret does last a bit too long but generally its a solid ability that requires thought to both use well and defeat. Its about on par with Seth's ability which is arguably more useful since you can place it in more spaces and capture platforms with it.

The ion cannon is very easy to dodge (with the exception of the one unit in the center) and costs a small fortune to fire, only a handful of people play solomon higher up now, and like most expensive things applying pressure punishes the solomon player very heavily for misfirings and overuse.

Zone Troopers die to flame troops, riflemen, militants, confessors, chem troopers, flame tanks, snipers, disruptors; lots of weaknesses, many of which are easily obtainable, though I do think GDI needs another lower level infantry counter like grenadiers (and the devs know this as well)

Yeah the AI pathfinding needs some work and is being worked on, you're probably not getting out of things walking through tiberium though :P
