Re: Problem with triggers in editor

@Nyerguds Thanks for the reply. I got the mission pretty much the way I want now.

I figured crates would work something like that. But looking at some of the steel crates in the official missions, like mission 8 for example, it doesn't seem to even have a cell trigger associated with it. But when you pick it up in game you get that black swirly circle over it. There doesn't even seem to be a trigger action for the crate effects to begin with, like heal all troops etc.

    The steel crates scattered in Nod missions had a different purpose.

    They're supposed to be nuclear components. And, originally, the game tasked you with finding all three crates in the Nod campaign in order to get access to that one single nuke in the final mission. That's also why you only get one. So yea, the game simply has some internal counter for those that's retained across the missions.

    However, this logic had issues; sometimes it failed to load from savegames, and it apparently gave problems with the Covert Ops missions, where you should get a nuke anyway. So it was patched out even back in the DOS C&C days. C&C95 never had the 3-crate requirement.
