You know the great thing about error codes? They are more or less unique, which makes them extremely easy to google. A quick search for origin+error+code+1638 led me to these results:
- The problem is caused by a previous version of a program already being installed.
- You can get around it by removing the previous install information from the registry.
However, I need more information. What exactly was the error you got? Was it about the game, or about redistributable components?
