Red Alert 3 - Windows 7 64 bit - Sound but No Video

As titled, I have tried to run Red Alert 3 1.12 on a windows 7 64 bit home OS withteh result of the game launching past the splash screen as normal, going full screen, hearing sound of the game runni...

Ah, right. Makes more sense. 

I'm wary of updating graphics card drivers given there usually a hit and miss affair in regards to stability. Will give it a go anyway, can always roll back if I get any problems Will reply back with an update in a bit.

    Just as an update to this and anyone having similar issues, I played around with my native resolution taking it from 1600 x 900 30Mhz I believe t o 1920 x1080 60Mhz and it now works as it should.
