Red Alert 3 For security reasons, only a limited number of machines can ever be licensed by a single purchase

I just installed Red Alert 3 after formatting my computer, and I got this error every time I launch: "For security reasons, only a limited number of machines can ever be licensed by a single purchase. This limit has been reached. Please wait for it to auto expire" This was translated from Norwegian so it might not be the same in English. I don't think this game has been registered on any other PC but just incase I used the RA3 deauthorize program. I really want to play Red Alert 3 again, please help!

    On how many PCs do you have the game installed? You should specifically uninstall it from any older PCs if you want to reinstall it on a new one.

    The only way around this is to redeem your key in Origin, which makes it playable through your Origin login on any PC.

    I still can't play for the same reason. and i reformatted my laptop many times. is there anything else we can do?

    This issue is unbelievable. Locked out because a game from ten years ago thinks we should be using the same hard drive in 2020. Really? I still haven't found a solution to this and this question was asked in 2013. Tried registering on Origin and it won't work there either. The game is also unplayable without internet. What do we do!? I'm not re-buying the game. That's ridiculous.
