Red Alert 3 Not Launching.

So i've downloaded RA3 today as i fancied playing and had many issues trying to get it running, mainly the EA App showing a window Saying Preparing game or from launching within the EA App interface it just continuously loads and makes no progress.

I spent hours looking on forums etc for a fix and accidentally stumbled upon one, It appears EA closed down the news Collection feed or something and it was timing out but not closing the launch attempt. Downloading and replacing the .exe with the one from RA3 Quick loader Found here ( https://www.gamereplays.org/community/Fix_Does_your_RA3_takes_too_long_to_startn_try_RA3_QuickLoader_-t1013524.html) appears to have fix it for me personally, although it does say on the page to upload RA3.1.12 and replace it upon trying it failed to let me upload so i tried without doing this and it works successfully.

Posting this as i saw a large number of other people having the same issues and no fixes. 

Also when launching from this exe it will show the usual splash screen, clicking on the splash screen opens the old style launcher for modding/replays.
