red alert 3 on windows 8 64 bit

I am having the same problem but i dont have any servispack one for win7 an i cant run red alert 3 in win8, 64 bit any other solution ?? thanks in advance

I have the same problem as this, I've tried every possible solution I can find and nothing. 

These are supposed to be help forums, but from what i can tell, every post i see in the list has 0 replies.. maybe 1-2 from time to time. What a joke.

This worked for me..but you can't change resolution..you're stuck with 800x600....go to C: > program files (x84)>origin games>red alert 3

right click RA3EP1.exe

troubleshoot compatibility

try recommended settings

windows copatibility mode Windows Vista Service Pack 2

test the program then hit next...worked for me

Having bought the supposedly "remastered" version of the game and trying to run it on Windows 8.1, I feel cheated.

EA/Origin support is pretty much non-existent.

Using Windows 8.1 64bit and when trying to launch the game, I get the RA3 splash screen for a few seconds, then it disappears and the game isn't launched.

I have a problem that it says to re-enter the CD Key and i did that but it didnt work

What about Windows 8.1?

I had problems with win8.1, x64 starting Red Alert 3. All compatibility settings didn't helped me.

Here is how I solved it

in compatibility settings I have the following:

• Windows 7
• Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

Also I inserted PCI-Ex GeForce GT 630 card.

Game wasn't starting when I was using my integrated CPU Intel HD 4600 (Core i7 4770)

Then I've read in readme.txt that Red Alert 3 does not support integrated graphics.

I was sure it will run with Intel HD 4600 because I successfully played other games like, Portal, Fallout3 and others.

But this game only started when I inserted my GeForce GT 630 and plugged my monitor into GeForce.

So far I'm playing well in 1920x1080 on normal settings. No problems so far. 

Hope this will help somebody.

P.S.

If nothing helps try to read redme.txt for video card compatibility notes. I remember that RedAlert does not support some GeForces, 5000 series I think.

Here is how you can access readme.txt

find RA3.exe file,

start it as RA3.exe -ui from cmd.exe of create shortcut to RA3.exe on your desktop go to shortcut properties and add -ui at the end of the file location.

When you start game this way, a new window will open with some options, there you will have Readme button, click it and read notes about video card copmatibility.

Решил проблему путем исправление проблем с совместимостью, при  диагностике просто выбрал windows 7 и все PROFIT!
