I think lag spiking is a form of cheating as well. By that I mean you play pretty much the whole game and it comes down to seconds with the last missile and then a spike occurs. Very suspect if you ask me.
Lag spikes happen. We all wish they didn't. But it's a fact of the game for now. Until you can prove that they are malicious, then I'll still side with "Lag happens, and there isn't much we can do other than only play on data"
- The problem is that not all countries follow US standard for cell services. Which means players from other countries can cause signal issues which can result in lag. This is why there should be servers for different countries, as most games do.
