Tanya Dies instantly on first mish in Campaign Mode (RA2)

Subject says it all. Just bought the ultimate collection, downloaded Red Alert 2. Started Allied campaign mode, and Tanya dies instantly, failing the first mission. I could not find anything on how to fix that. Help!!!!

    I realize that this was posted a couple of years ago, however I am a mahoosive fan of C&C And I got the Origin 17 games edition, I had this issue for Red Alert 2, start a new campaign Tanya would die as soon as control was handed over to you and then if you restarted the mission, she would die before you even see her. 

    I was able to fix this issue by going into Origin and hovering over the game so that it gives you the Play button or the info button, Click on Info then go to "game properties" on the "Details" tab and tick the "disable Origin in game for this game" not really sure as to why this worked but it did for me. 

    Any one in the future looking to remissness the good ol' C&C days hope this helps.

    This topic was actually about a glitch in the old CD copy protection system of the game, which makes it blow up all your troops when it detects a supposedly-illegal copy. This system was improperly removed from the Origin version, and under certain circumstances it tends to activate on it.

    It is unrelated to actual tactical mission advice.

    Could be a long shot as this post was from years ago but now that Origin has been replaced by the EA app it doesn't allow me to follow your directions. Any suggestions?
