See? There needs to be a bigger punishment if you loose your harvesters.
I really think my suggestion of setting the rebuild cost of the second harvester to 30 will be very impactful. However, rebuilding your first harvester should still stay free.
Sounds reasonable to me. Now how can we convince them to change the implementation?

They already added the option to surrender. There was a thread here that suggested an implementation of a surrender button. This shows that the devs are reading the posts. They just don‘t reply (which they should tbh). That means if we make it clear that tech is not in a good state right now, they might change some things.
Devs, add an experimental 10-rebuild-cost to harvesters for a week. I want to see how much this will affect the game. Or add the 30-rebuild-cost for the second harvester (as I explained above) as an experiment and see how people react to it.

Well, let me just forecast what would happened if they allowed tech players to dominate the meta for too long. It would be an impending threat to their player base as most high ranking players use aggro instead of tech. If tech is allowed to dominate, new and old players would leave out of frustration (more on this later). It is often quite difficult to defeat tech players cause the units are like 2x stronger compared to their non-tech counterparts. A wolverine can mow through more infantry than a rhino can and predators are diminutive compared to centurions or titans.
New players leave and their curiosity for the game gets sapped cause of tech. They don't know how to beat it and begrudgingly quit. We would probably lose more new players on a daily basis if tech is allowed to dominate the meta than for aggro. Old players would have a hard time climbing up cause of all the tech players around. When a player goes tech, he can easily wrestle control of the missile pads and remove the player who doesn't tech. Most players prefer aggro as the units are not expensive. It is also difficult to defeat tech if your using a two way counter.

So you guys know that I get to Masters 2 and then start over when I get totally unmatched with level 7’s going against level 12 units. I’ve done it multiple times. Lost count.
In my ladder climbing travels it used to be..,
Silver was lots of good fights. Lots of tanks and Orcas. It was actually the league I had the most fun on.
Gold was fun too but players relied on too much tech and weren’t experienced. I ran through them.Platinum was like gold with a few aggro players who later learned.
Diamond was hard. It was a combination 50/50 of aggro and tech players that knew what they were doing.
You all know how Masters is.
Now, tech is extremely heavy from Gold all the way up to Masters. When I run just straight aggro, I’m 5 out of 10 from Platinum to Diamond. I started over and use zone troopers and now I’m winning like before. I hate it. The mid game with orcas and tanks are gone. It’s infantry to tech now. It makes no sense to run anything else and Infind myself having to do the same thing in many games now if I want to win.

Players like this is what I’m seeing. Look at these two tech whales going at each other. Hilarious. It’s the future of this game.
