Yuri's Revenge and RA2: Issues after exiting the games.

With Red Alert 2, when I exit the game, it just gives me a black screen forcing me to use the ctrl + esc keys, then use the task manager to end the RA2 task. Which isn't too fatal, unlike Yuri's Revenge, when I exit the game, I can't see, nor use, my mouse icon to click on anything. So it essentially killed my ability to use my computer, forcing me to shut down the computer, and bring it back up.

How can I fix this issue?
