1:Analogue input cannot display this video mode

hello guys, 
i just downloaded dead space 3 and when i launched a black screen with the error message '1:Analogue input cannot display this video mode' appeared. this happens with a lot of steam games yet i am to fix it by changing the launch options outside of the game. i am just wondering how to do this on origin or even if its possible.
