a bug with Spider boss on the mountain

I've recently bought the game, and I've managed to make it to Ch.13, but I'm having trouble with the boss, now I've already restated the chapter but its not working for me so here is the problem, The fight with the spider, on the 3rd time I've hooked it, it manages to pull away from the hooks, and I mean walk away from the hooks while hooks are stuck in mid-air and the spider heading towards me and attacks. Now I've already tried several different ways of killing it but no matter if I shot all the balls or leave the balls, it still manages to pull away from the hook, so please help.

I had the same problem. I saw another post about a Chapter 9 quick time bug and the solution was just turn down your video quality. I figured I'd nothing to lose so I turned it down to the lowest quality and I pulled him apart in one go. Hope this helps.

hey dude if you have the "spider" hooked up you need to hold kinesis on the blue wheel (on the left ) that will tear him apart

i'm having the same problem - I'm using the F button to move the crank and no matter how many times I "mash" the F key it gets away. I'm stuck here.
